TThe University of Stirling is a vibrant academic community with a tradition of welcoming students from all over the world, with over 100 nationalities represented on campus. The University was founded on the site of the historic Airthrey Estate in 1967. Nestling beneath the Ochil Hills, the campus has a beautiful loch and 18th-century Airthrey Castle, which will house the INTO Centre. The views are breathtaking and the buildings are designed to harmonise with their surroundings and host our excellent research and state-of-the-art teaching facilities. You can choose from around 200 degree combinations delivered across seven Schools, which offer internationally renowned interdisciplinary teaching and research: School of Applied Social Science, School of Arts and Humanities, School of Education, University of Stirling Management School, School of Natural Sciences, School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health, School of Sport.

Stirling offers a wide range of up to date computing facilities, including web-based email and Internet access to all students. You will have access to the University portal, an online gateway to key learning resources such as e-journals and Succeed, which is Stirling’s online learning environment. The library holds over 300,000 books, approximately 46,000 e-books and more than 45,000 e-journal titles to support you in your study.
Located in the 18th-century Airthrey Castle, the INTO University of Stirling Centre combines modern learning facilities with highly qualified teachers and a dedicated support team. Living on the University campus means you have access to the best learning and social facilities as you prepare for university life.
