University of North Alabama
The University of North Alabama (UNA) is a state owned institution located in Florence, Alabama. It has a rich history dating back to 1830, making it one of the oldest universities in the United States. Today UNA offers fully accredited programs in over 100 different undergraduate and graduate concentrations in four different colleges. Our classes are small and friendly and are taught by faculty members only. In addition, the Office of International Affairs offers an intensive English learning program for international students. English as a Second Language (ESL) is a five-step program designed to prepare students for both undergraduate and graduate academic coursework at UNA. The University of North Alabama prides itself on strong academics supported by a dedicated faculty and staff. The University has developed into a comprehensive regional university providing quality educational opportunities for students, with majors in four colleges—arts and sciences, business, education, and nursing. Toward that end they offer a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate programs coupled with excellent academic support services.
The ability to take classes on-line at UNA was very appealing since my work can be very demanding. The professors are very knowledgeable. UNA’s MBA program not only allows a student to acquire knowledge, but provides the benefit of learning how to think critically, communicate clearly, and lead effectively. Barbara Goswick
